The total active Coronavirus disease (Covid) in the province drops to 58, according to the spokesman of the Bohol Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF).

In a virtual presser on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, Dr. Cesar Tomas Lopez, BIATF spokesman, said there were 11 soldiers who recovered from Covid infection and led the way for the reduction of active cases in the province.

The number of Covid cases dropped to 58 from the previous count of 70 cases registered on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020.

Lopez said that there are no new Covid cases reported on Wednesday.

Moreover, only 29 Covid-infected personnel of the Philippine Army out of the 65 soldiers who were earlier reported to have contracted the disease.

The spokesman said the number of Covid cases considered to be local transmission dropped to 19.

Lopez bared that 10 local transmission cases are from Bien Unido town, one (1) resident from Calape, two (2) cases in Talibon, one (1) case each from Bilar, Carmen, and Buenavista, two (2) cases from Dauis and one(1) resident from Candijay.
