There is wealth of beauty under Bohol’s seawaters, particularly in Panglao town. Shown in the photo collage are different corals at various coral nurseries of Panglao Island. The personnel of the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources office (MENRO) of Panglao together with a non-government organization called Vesna Bohol, conducted activities related to Panglao government’s Sustainable Coral Reef Rescue Project. The activities were done from Jan. 25 to 29, 2022 at the town’s coral nurseries located in Bil-isan, Doljo, and Tangnan. Shown in the inset photo, located at the upper right corner, is a laminated copy of The Bohol Tribune’s Jan. 23 to 29, 2022 issue, to indicate that the aforementioned activities were recently held. The rich marine biodiversity and beautiful corals are major attractions that bring in tourists from all over the world to Panglao. For this reason, the town government is exerting much effort to protect and preserve these marine treasures, according to an information from the local government unit of Panglao. Contributed photo
