One Bohol BBM-SARA Grand Alliance has cleared its role during the recent visit of Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s son, Simon.
This was disclosed by One Bohol BBM-SARA Grand Alliance president Cylwin Bomediano to The Bohol Tribune.
He said that the grand alliance’s role in the visit was confined to the facilitation of Simon’s arrival in Bohol, visit to the local headquarters at the Liteport Center, and his appearance in the forum at the Bohol Wisdom School gymnasium.
Beyond that, Bomediano said, the alliance had no hand regarding other activities attended by Simon Marcos. If the Bongbong’s son went to other invitations outside of Tagbilaran City, the alliance didn’t anymore have anything to do with these engagements, Bomediano added.
The son of the former senator who is running for the presidency, visited Bohol on Mar. 24, 2022 and met with youth representatives from different parts of Bohol.
Not less than 1,000 youth participants from the different towns of Bohol attended the forum with the 26-year-old Simon.
Simon is the first scion of the Marcos family who visited Bohol after the filing of the certificate of candidacy of Marcos Jr. back in Oct. 2021.
Marcos Jr. is running alongside vice presidential aspirant and Davao City mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio in the coming polls on May 9, 2022.
