After almost three years of virtual school activities, the University of Bohol (UB) conducted face-to-face moving up and commencement exercises in its primary and college education levels for school year 2021-2022, according to a a press release from the University.

This developed after the school was granted clearances from the Tagbilaran City Inter-Agency Task Force (TIATF) for COVID 19, Department of Education (DepEd) – Bohol, and Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Region VII for the holding of separate graduation ceremonies in various levels.

On July 5, 2022, some 767 college and post-graduate students received their respective diplomas during the 160th Commencement Exercises held at the Victoriano B. Tirol Jr. Sports Complex Oval, barangay Taloto, Tagbilaran City.

There were also graduation ceremonies in UB and VDT-ALC for Grade School or Elementary levels, Junior High and Senior High School students, which were done separately in their respective campuses.

Meanwhile, for the opening of school year 2022-2023 in August this year, UB is set to embrace face-to-face classes for all programs at all levels, given the clearance from the local IATF and other line agencies.
