The local government unit (LGU) of Tagbilaran City completed a workshop and produced the Comprehensive Development Plan-Executive Legislative Agenda (CDP-ELA), which is basically the road map for the city’s development.

The workshop was facilitated by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under Dr. Rosalinda Paredes at the Bohol Beach Club from Sept.8. to 9, 2022, according to reports.

The CDP-ELA covers various concerns and issues affecting the city including the plan to digitalize the processes and transactions at City Hall, Vice Mayor Adam Jala said in a radio interview on Sept. 9, 2022.

In the same interview, Jala said that the activity was attended by key officials from the City Government, members of civil society organizations, and representatives from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) among others, Jala added.

Jala said the workshop was a multi-sectoral one where the city government crafted its plans for the next three years.

“Kining CDP-ELA kina-importantehan ni nga kalihukan sa atong city government diin dinhi nato gi-plano kung unsay pagabuhaton sa atoang gobyerno sa sulod sa 3 ka tuig,” the vice mayor explained.

The CDP-ELA covers the key issues and problems that will given priority by the City Government. The CDP-ELA also contains the solutions to the issues and problems the city faces at least in the next 3 years, the vice mayor quipped.

Moreover, Jala said that the CDP-ELA will be presented in the next session of the Sangguniang Panglungsod where it is expected to be adopted for implementation.
