With the theme. “Christmas Around the World”. The Mt Banat-i Development Corporation (MBDC) marked the Yuletide season with a grand party at the plush activity center/gymnasium of Cristal-e College at Tawala, Panglao on Dec. 17, 2022.
Key officials of the corporation graced the occasion. Dr. Will Tyron Tirol. chairman of Board of Trustees, and Dr. Victoriano Tirol (Il, president of MBDC each delivered a message to the guests, personnel and participating subsidiaries
The MBDC is the holding company which owns Cristal-e College. Cristal Enterprises, Cristal-Vi Finance Corporation, Boho! Universal Press Corporation, and The Bohol Tribune, inc. They are under one umbrella owned and managed by the Tirol brothers (Dr. Ryan and Dr. Tyron) and their families.
The surprise number rendered by the Tirol family which was an interpretation of a Jose Mari Chan song, drew a real round of applause. In another number, some of the young scions of the Tirols rendered a song to the delight of the crowd.
Home appliances and gadgets were raffled off during the Party. Minor prizes of gift certificates were awarded to other deserving participants.
Zian Ayeng of The Bohol Tribune, inc. won a gift certificate while Jonas Añuver, the liaison officer. won a prize in the “Bring Me” game.
What brought the house down was the surprise announcement of the President instructing the Finance Department to give, on the spot, to everyone present in the party a P2000 cash gift as a gesture of sharing Management’s blessings with all employees.
Another MORE SURPRISING AND HAPPY ANNOUNCEMENT of the MBDC Management. through Drs. Ryan and Tyron, was the on the spot raffle and draw of several!
cash prizes in the amount of P10.000, P5.000 3,000, & P1.000.
“GABAHA GYUD ANG GRASYA ADTONG GABHIONA WALAY TIHIK TIHIK. SOBRA SOBRA ANG GASA,” said Ardy Araneta-Batoy, the Managing Editor of The Bohol Tribune.
The party was also truly enjoyed by everyone because of the very sumptuous dinner overflowing on every buffet table appetizers, main courses, fruits, dessert and drinks
And lest we forget, some departments merged and presented entertaining dance numbers during the competition
