A tricycle driver from Panglao, Bohol, has shown that honesty and community spirit are alive and well at Modala Beach Resort, after he returned a lost smart phone to a hotel guest.

Mr. Limuel Ribon, a Bol-anon tricycle driver, found the smart phone in his vehicle after dropping off a guest at the resort. He immediately contacted the resort’s security department and arranged to return the device to its rightful owner.

For his outstanding act of integrity, Modala Beach Resort Security Supervisor Reggie Sorbito presented Limuel with a well-deserved Certificate of Recognition.

The award ceremony was also attended by PCTP. Leo Suma-oy, the PTMO Head, Edgar Aranaydo, the PATDOA Association President and Joel Banquel, the PATDOA President from the Modala group.

“We are very proud of Mr. Ribon for his honesty and professionalism. He is a great example of how our community works together to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests,” Sorbito said.

Limuel expressed his gratitude for the recognition and said he was happy to help.

“I am just doing my duty as a tricycle driver and a citizen. I know how important a smart phone is for communication and personal use, so I wanted to return it as soon as possible,” he said in Bisaya.
