Clarin, Bohol – A former prisoner who allegedly raped a 69-year-old woman twice
and has a history of assaulting women was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation on
Friday, November 3, 2023.
The suspect, identified as Gerbe Jimenez, 39, was caught with 16 grams of shabu
worth P108,000 in Poblacion Centro, Clarin, Bohol, according to the police.
Jimenez was also accused of raping a 69-year-old woman, who resides alone in the
same barangay, on October 29, 2023.
The victim (name withheld) said Jimenez entered her house around 1:00 a.m. and
dragged her to the bedroom, where he choked her, threatened her, and sexually
assaulted her.

He then left but returned two hours later, wearing different clothes, and raped her
again.
The victim was able to identify Jimenez by his body size and the watch he was
wearing.
She reported the incident to the police, who were already monitoring Jimenez for his
involvement in illegal drugs.
Jimenez had a criminal record of arson and domestic violence against children and
women. He was previously imprisoned for these charges but was released on
parole.
Clarin PNP said Jimenez was under the influence of alcohol and drugs when he
committed the crimes.
Jiminez is now facing charges of rape, murder, and violation of the Comprehensive
