William Richard Jao presides over back-to-back meetings on Valentine’s Day. Mayor William R. Jao (inset, upper right corner) who serves as the Chairperson on both Local Committee on Anti Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) and the Municipal Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) presided over the meetings which took place on Feb. 14, 2024, simultaneous to the celebration of Valentine’s Day. Among the highlights of the meeting is the resolution of the LCAT-VAWC endorsing the draft Municipal GAD Code to the Sangguniang Bayan for approval. Both meetings were attended by various LGU departments and external partners such as the Phil. Ports Authority, Phil. Coast Guard, PNP, Tubigon Federated Council of Women, Mater Dei College and ECPAT Phils.
