She said, “Our continued commitment to providing school uniforms reflects our belief that every Tagbilaranon student deserves an equal opportunity to thrive in the classroom. By addressing this practical need, we contribute to creating an environment where learning is accessible and enjoyable for all.”

Understanding the financial challenges faced by families, Mayor Yap initiated this ongoing program to ensure that every student has access to the fundamental tools needed for a productive and confident learning experience.

The distribution of school uniforms not only alleviates the burden on parents, but also promotes a sense of identity and unity among students.

This distribution of uniforms was organized in collaboration with the Department of Education (DepEd) led by Dr. Wilfreda Bongalos, Schools Division Superintendent of the City Schools Division of Tagbilaran City, along with school principals, teachers and DepEd personnel.

As city students received their new uniforms, the impact of Mayor Yap’s dedication to enhancing the educational landscape of Tagbilaran City resonated with parents, and educators.
