On March 1, 2024, the Antequera Fire Station personnel headed by SFO3 Joelle P. Margate, PTRP, JD, Officer-in-Charge, and under the supervision of Supt. Raul G. Bustaliño, JD, DPA, Provincial Fire Marshal, conducted the Nationwide Simultaneous Kick-off Ceremony for Fire Prevention Month together with Philippine National Police-Antequera, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management (MDRRM) and Local Government Unit (LGU) personnel, Antequera Local Emergency Rescue Team (ALERT), Rural Health Unit (RHU)-Antequera, Antequera Radio and Communication Organization (ARCO) and nearby barangay Rescue vehicles and officials. During the event a short program was held right after the motorcade which was graced and participated in by the LGU Officials headed by Hon. Jose Mario J. Pahang, Municipal Mayor (in photo, standing, holding a microphone). With this year’s theme, “Sa Pag-Iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-Iisa”, everyone is encouraged to promote a fire-safe community.
