35 child development centers in Tagbilaran get school supplies

Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Yap led the turnover of educational supplies to all 35 Child Development Centers in Tagbilaran City on October 21, 2026.

The turnover was held at the Poblacion 2 Covered Court in Tagbilaran City, reaffirming the city government’s commitment to quality early childhood education.

Child development workers and teachers received learning materials, including bond paper, printer ink, and other essential supplies to help them prepare instructional resources and conduct classroom activities for preschool learners.

Mayor Yap emphasized the importance of investing in children’s education from their earliest years.

She said that access to appropriate learning materials and a conducive classroom environment helps establish a strong foundation for future learning.

The provision of educational supplies complements the city government’s other initiatives for young learners, including the distribution of smart TVs to all daycare centers.

Other initiatives include the provision of uniforms for nearly 3,000 pupils, the implementation of a feeding program, and the installation of air-conditioning units in daycare centers.

These initiatives aim to support teachers in delivering effective instruction while providing children with a more comfortable, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

Through these programs, the City Government of Tagbilaran continues to prioritize early childhood development and assist families by investing in the education, well-being, and development of young Tagbilaranons.
