Jukebox King Victor Wood died on Friday, April 23, 2021 due to complications arising from Coronavirus disease (Covid), reports said.
Wood, known as the Philippines’ Jukebox King of the ‘70s, was rushed to the hospital around 9 am on Friday after his oxygen saturation level dropped due to Covid.
Reports said that the veteran singer was rushed to the hospital due to asthma. Moreover, Wood’s hits include Mr. Lonely, Fraulein and I am Sorry My Love among others.
