ALTURAS GROUP JOINS BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026
The Alay Marcela Foundation (AMF) of the Alturas Group of Companies is taking part in the city-wide Brigada Eskwela 2026, conducted by the Tagbilaran City Schools Division which was officially launched last Monday, June 1, at Mansasa Elementary School, attended by local DepEd officials, school principals, other stakeholders and donors, with Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Cajes-Yap in attendance.
The usual Brigada Eskwela activities were more on school repainting and clean-up drive, but for AMF, it turned-over a mural painting which was plastered on the school fence. The artwork was a collaborative masterpiece of renowned Boholana artist Jacky Curambao Aballe and Ruel Ido Bernaldez, with the assistance of the Alampat Art Academy students.
Entitled “Bohol Golden Natural Resources”, the mural painting will help remind the pupils to always take of the environment.
Aside from AMF, other stakeholders turned-over respective donations and pledged to support the schools in the city.
Other activities during the Brigada Eskwela were the medical mission and free haircut to pupils who are about to return back to school on Monday, June 8.
