“Dune: Part Two”

at Screenville

The sequel to “Dune” in 2021, and the second of a two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel of the same title by Frank Herbert which follows Paul Atreides reuniting with the Fremen people of the desert planet Arrakis to wage war against a huge enemy army, “Dune: Part Two” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.

The story follows the journey of Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet) who unites with his love interest Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen, as he seeks revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family, and endeavours to prevent a terrible future that only he can predict.

Paul learns the special way of surviving on the barren desert planet of  the Fremen as they also begin to revere Paul as their prophesied messiah

The setting of Dune: Part Two remains consistent for the most part. Much of the action still takes place on the desert planet Arrakis, source of the Spice Melange.
